Clare and Andrew’s winter wedding, featured amazing flowers, incredible music and lots of laughter!
Clare and her bridesmaids got ready at The Richmond Hill Hotel in a beautiful and elegant suite. I loved being around in the morning to capture the details and excitement!
The marriage took place at St Stephen’s Church Twickenham and where the couple were joined by close to 200 friends and family! After lots of micro-weddings, it was definitely the biggest wedding I’ve photographed for a couple of years and it was wonderful to be surrounded by so many happy people!
The church was decorated with incredible flowers by Eileen of @flowersiting, soft romantic pinks and pastels which looks stunning. Both Clare and Andrew are very musical and so each hymn was chosen with care. They were very fortunate to have Noel Tredinnick, a friend and highly gifted Organist play for them and Clare’s cousin Lucy Thalange who is a professional singer also performed. They made a wonderful duo and their performances were a highlight of the day.
After the service, we took some photos in Richmond Park and on Richmond Hill, before heading to Clare and Andrew’s reception at The Richmond Hill Hotel.
Here's what Clare said about working with me:
'Louisa photographed our winter wedding two months ago. We absolutely loved her beautiful photos of us in Richmond and will treasure them for many years. There are so many good ones that it's hard to know which to print off! The colours of a dull winter day look stunning in the photos. We enjoyed the pre-wedding shoot with her as well and those photos, in their own right, are fabulous as well. She was really easy to work with, unobtrusive, calm and thoughtful. Thank you so much!'
It was the perfect winter wedding and such a privilege to capture. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Durban!
